Desert Rat was running 3 x 12 core CPUs and an 8 core CPU when one of his 12s was bad.

They do not have to be the same chip, but all the chips will be clocked at the slower chips MHz..

Yes they will but your cpu's will run at the speed of the slowest cpu in your system. You don't need more trolling power, no 4p for you. teaching.gif

Does anyone know how the 6164's perform in folding, 12c 1.7ghz...

Also, how they might OC?

To state the obvious, I'd imagine they'd be somewhere between a 6128 and 6174. I believe the 6128ers get somewhere between 250k-300k. While 6174ers are getting about 550-600k. Considering you have 12 cores and are just lacking in clock speed I'd guess between 450-500k. In terms of OC'ing, [H] has apparently made their hack much better and chips can be OC'd 20%+! All in all, not a slouche processor by far, how much do 6164s cost each for ya?
