i know you said amd, but if you can pricematch MC @ frys or ncix or have one local then an i3 2100 for $100 would be better

paired with this h67 board for $52

Considering your first choice was getting a board with limited VRMs, and no aftermarket cooler unlocking and overclocking to maybe match the performance of the i3 is out of the question.

$288 amir's

congo now u go 200$ i guess
then go with
GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P 60$
SAPPHIRE 100328L Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 100$
CORSAIR 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 20$
Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC 430W 46$ after rebate 34$
Total 214$
and if you dont mind spending 20$ then
Refurnished : MSI Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 120$
which will crank up your total to 234$

The Corsair CX 430 V2 is a better quality unit (significantly) for a lower price.  You can also get a dual channel memory kit for the same price (and it's actually in stock) - extra bandwidth should be advantaged when it can be done with no extra cost.  I wouldn't worry about the need for expandability as it is highly unlikely that any more than 4GB of RAM will be necessary for this PC.

+1 for RAM and as for the PSU i know the CX430 V2 is better but his Budget limits it redface.gif from those 300$ he already took a 92$ CPU rolleyes.gif if its a 300$ budget then he should he gone with a Athlon II X3 455 80$ or a Athlon II X4 631for 85$
if he does not mind spending abit extra then thumb.gif
