High quality computer speakers

Thread Starter
Needing very high quality computer speakers for less than or around $150. I listen to all genres mostly Dubstep, hip hop, and rock; and if it makes any difference I have a creative x-fi titanium sound card.
Thanks in advance audiophiles thumb.gif

I can recommend my Infinity Primus P153s. I got lucky and got the speakers for $50 each, but you should be able to find them for $75. You will also need to get an amp then.

Active speakrs/monitors are a good bet then as the amps are actually inside the speakers.

Ebay is a good place to look. I just grabbed a sweet deal on my speakers.

Also, if you dont want to have a sub (2.0 setup) I would suggest a set of speakers with at least 6 inch woofers or you'll most likely be missing out on a good bit of low end in your music and games.

I got my Bx5a's on sale at guitar center for $199. Every once in awhile they have sales. But you can find them used on ebay or amazon around $200-250

How do I power speakers without 3.5mm jacks Is my next question, confusedsmiley.png and I also think a dedicated woofer would suit my music preferences better. But overall im looking for great sound quality for games along with music
