I didnt see it in here, but a set of Dayton Audio B562 Speakers, a T-Amp, and a Dayton Audio Sub-80 will tear up any PC Speaker kit.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1198387/need-new-2-1-speakers/10#post_16166574

Ive been using this kit for a while and I wont see a need to upgrade for a long time.

Thread Starter
I asked because I live in the car audio world I don't know name brands or small amps for home and pc system and I originally thought about buying the pro medias but they just seemed expensive after i listened to them a couple days ago and every1 suggest building your own system for the pc too so thats what I did. And when I said LOL at the guy mentioning the pro medias its just because we went through those before I heard them so it was just like wow another person suggesting these just let it be known that i wasn't insulting your setup.

you may wanna be clearer about laughing at someones opinion.
and the source must have been bad, because they sound amazing.
i have dabbled enough in the world of audio to know that for about $100 readily available in near-perfect condition used, they are nearly unbeatable.

But you were like the 20th person to recommend the kpro 2.1. They are good as far as all- in- one pc speaker sets go, but the Dayon set sounds MUCH better.

I still have my klipsch 2.1 but I would definitely not call them amazing.

Maybe there is a big difference in the 2.1's and 5.1's then. I have the Promedia 5.1 THX's and coupled with a sound card I think they sound pretty good. But I only have $30 in the setup so that might sway my opinion a little wink.gif

idk, if you guys are audiophiles, but it seems that they lose a bit of appreciation for balance when they want perfect representation or whatever.
