Put AS5 on x1600Pro core

Well I finally got around to doing this today. And I have to say that is the messiest thing I have ever done! They have thermal paste EVERYWHERE.

But now to my question. I ended up having to remove the "seal pad" around the contact area. It looks like its just a piece of foam around the HS. Will this be a problem?

nope - the cooler shouldn't press on the core that hard anyway. and besides, its gunna be upside down, so alot of weight and pressure will be removed

Alright cool. I used my ArtiClean on there and it just soaked the pad therefore it started to peel off. I wish I could see my temps though...
