Yes, they will mainly be used within the home, but I may take 'em to a couple of places with me, such as school and what not.

I'm really looking into these two right now, but can't seem to see the difference between them, remember I'm looking for bass, which one would have it?

I have these and they are great for budget headphones..a couple of small mods that can be found on headfi and you've got an excellent set of cans.

I strongly suggest saving your money up a little more and getting AD700s.

Those 2 you linked look to me like a mere color difference, but the more expensive ones probably sound better. With companies like Sennheiser and Audio Technica you can pretty much just pick whatever costs highest and you'll be set for your quality cap.

At some point, you'll just have to pull the trigger on something. What we can tell you is just that: subjective, anecdotal evidence. What you end up experiencing might be something completely different which is why our recounts should be taken with a grain of salt.

Under the $60 mark, I personally would go for the HA-RX700. It's an established headphone that I've had twice already. It's a really good starting point to get you into higher quality audio. It is by no means the end-all, be-all of headphones under $60 but in my opinion, it's one of those headphones that sound and feel like they cost a lot more, especially with leather pads from the RX900.

Of course, once you get an RX700 or any of the other headphones recommended here and realize you have enough money to upgrade...there's always the upgrade to an Ultrasone...redface.gif

That's not true at all...different headset have different sounds. Even within a single brand, you can have many different sounding phones. Just because a set is more expensive doesn't mean you will like them more at all.
