Speedfan, Temp2 ???

Thread Starter
I am not sure what temp. this temp 2 indicates. I know it's not my cpu or inside case, because side panels are open and i have 2 exhausts one at the back one at the top spinning at full speed. So it can't be that.
The PSU fan is connected to Fan2 on the mobo so i thought that might be the PSU temp. but i am not sure if there is any temp. sensor in Enermax Liberty. Or it can be my HDD but there is already a temp monitor for HDD in speedfan. I am so confused

Does anybody have any idea ?

THANK YOU !
LL

When you click on "Configure", and go to the Temps Tab, what address is given?

Post back with the results and we'll see what we can do to answer that question.

Okay... I can not come up with a reliable answer, sorry.

I have had this problem with multiple Mobo's and SpeedFan, the util is hit and miss when it comes to the readings and their accuracy.

In the end I have cross-examined the readings with other monitor utilities to nail down the important ones (CPU, MoBo, HDD, South Bridge and North Bridge - if applicable) and then un-checked the bogus readings. In addition, many of the fan speeds may be innacurate.

SpeedFan also uses averages for some of the readings, you will have to explore and fiddle to get the readings right (not fiddle to get what you want to see, but fiddle to get what is accurate, LOL!)

In truth, the only reason that I use Speedfan is to display some of the items on my G15 LCD.

Sorry that I couldn't be of more help...

My suggestion always is take down the temps then go into the BIOS to see what they are.
