Even if contact was subpar and TIM was not high end he should not be getting 80c on use, reset your Cmos and see if that helps, if it doesn't and you are sure your heatsink isn't on upside down you may have damaged your CPU.
Its 45-46 Idle now. And my cpu isn't damaged i guess. I ran prime95 yesterday for more than an hour.
