Nice! I really liked Amnesia, although I expected it to be more scary from what people told me... Looking forward to this... whatever it is smile.gif

But im not by any means saying Amnesia is bad.

No it's actually good that you mentioned those two games. I swear dead space had zero horror for me. In amnesia you don't have a gun that shoots limb chopping spinning blades at monsters. Silent Hill on the other hand is the complete opposite (and more similar to amnesia) in that you feel vulnerable. A good horror game should make you feel vulnerable, immersed and jumpy (without jumping at you every few seconds).

Still waiting on something as good as the haunted hotel in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

I love VTM:B but I didn't find the hotel that scary. I found Grout's burning mansion scarier with those *******s popping out of nowhere.

Yup, it was the suspense that really got everyone in Amnesia imo. It didn't overdo it but it constantly gave subtle reminders that something may happen, something scary.

And you'll soon remember it when it does, lol.
