This system was done on the cheap. Didn't cut very many corners actually and all in all I'm pretty happy with what I've ordered up. Here's the list of parts placed in transit from NewEgg.

Case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition
Motherboard: Biostar TA870U3+
Video Card: MSI Twin Frozr II Radeon HD6870 1GB
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650 V2
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 960T Zosma 3.0GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengence 2x4GB DDR3 1600
ROM Drive: Lite-On DVD Burner of some sort
Cooling: 2x 120MM Xigmatek Case Fans, Xigmatek Gaia 120MM CPU Cooler

I will be re-using my 1.5TB Western Digital Caviar from my previous computer since it was added on and is nearly brand new. The reason for the build name is that after some careful selection of combo deals and mail-in rebates, this system comes in at a few dollars over $600 and that is with a $13 tube Artic Silver 5 and $10 in shipping. Plus I get Dirt 3 haha. Anyways, I hope to be putting this bad boy together middle of the coming week. Will update with pics, progress, burn-in, benchmarks, etc.

Crappy cell phone pics, couldn't be bothered to dig the camera out tonight.Gotta love Newegg, they send the case from Tenn. and they send EVERYTHING else from Cali. So tomorrow should be the big day, with a giant box of parts to place inside the case.

First impression? It's light. Every panel on the case has some sort of perforation. Hopefully that means great air cooling. For $35 this case absolutely can not be beat.

Everything showed up last night but didn't get much done. Didn't start until 8pm and since Xigmatek's instructions were just as terrible as always I spent the first hour trying to figure out exactly how to mount the damn thing with the puzzle pieces they throw in the box. Once I figured that out it was pretty much smooth sailing. It's mostly built and I'm leaving work early today and I will be updating the thread with pics and such.

And there you have it. Went together nice and smooth. Picture quality is not very good I know. Ah well, such is life. I'm working on downloading benchmarks and what not currently to run some stock benches and then it's on to unlocking and overclocking.
