Corsair 800D question / owners opinions

Thread Starter
Hey guys, Ive been looking at the Corsair 800D and been browsing around and have noticed that people say its built for liquid cooling. Eventually when I upgrade a little I would like to get a Corsair h100 (Im not going to be doing major OCing of my CPU maybe 4ghz most?) but keep the GPU air cooled. Im only going to be using 1 HDD and was wondering if that portion boxed in red is removable to give better airflow for GPU.

Basically I was wondering if the 800D would be good for air cooling? (H100 for CPU)

You could mod the case and remove that, but why? That's your HDD drive bays.

The 800D does fine with air cooling. Just utilize the available fan openings.

I'm using a Corsair H50 in a push/pull and then 4 other 120mm fans in all the other available placements and have no problems

While I agree that Corsair would've been better off giving us some front intakes, the case still does fine with the set up they designed.
