I would think you'd be fine. Unless you have some ridiculous OC/voltmod on each tongue.gif

Can't answer that, but, Nvidea - based cards would be your best bet with F@H ... just from Googling your cards, both combined will not produce the PPD of one GTX 460.

I will but this setup has been rock solid for ages. The only new variable has been the new GPU WUs.

Ill need to check my CPU OC, the chip is getting on and may not be able to hold its current overclock.

Anyways... its still hanging in there thumb.gif

Its all set that way but still says same thing.

Only the 5770 is OC'd like a boss, 5870 is stock for now.

I don't fold 24/7 because I can't afford to so I try getting it during foldathons. I'm not in it for the points but rather for the cause. I'm on the red side of the fence for now because as far as I know Nvidia can only do three screen setups with a multi-gpu/SLI set up. Also I can't afford swapping the line.

Anyway. Any got a walk through for running multi gpus of different generations?

I'm using FAH GPU Tracker V2. Right now My 5770 is folding but I get an error when I try to start my 5870. Went to CCC to make sure it was recognized and it is, but says the adapter is disabled so I think that is my  first problem. I'm not sure how to enable it through software and the only thing I can think to do would be to plug in a monitor and see if that forces it.

V2 is good for CPUs and nVidia cards.

V7 however is a lot better for AMD/ATi 5000 & 6000 series cards. It allows you to get "advanced units" which in turn gets you a lot more PPD.
