Does this look right?

I put one of my backplates onto one of my 470's and well it looks odd. It is bending the board near the power connections but It should have the clearance and it doesn't. I can't seem to find a good picture of anyone else who is using one. To me looks like the pins are to long. But anyone who has a ek470 backplate on their card wanna share a picture, I would greatly appreciate it.

Should I not even worry about it?

Personally I do not use backplates (I really wanted to) but I bought a set for my 5870's v2 from ek CORRECTLY mounted them and when I fired up my rig they shorted out on the pins and when i took them back off there were pin indentations in several places but it then booted up and ran fine.Maybe it was just my bad luck but in my opinion if it's touching pins it isn't going to be good.

^^^ This is good advice. The pins on the back of my 590 do NOT touch the backplate.
