PSU Question

Thread Starter
Hi Everyone, I was wondering if my psu can handle 2 gtx560ti in sli. My specs are Motherboard - Sabertooth X58 CPU - I7 950 PSU - Corsair HX850 Memory - HyperX T1 24gb CPU Cooler - Corsair H50 Hardrive - Caviar Blacks in raid0 Case - Fractal Define XL Fans - 5 total And if you're wondering ''why so much ram'', I run cubase, kontakt and several other vst's, kontakt uses alot of ram when loading sample library's. My main concern was the ram. I was'nt planning on overclocking anything, but if I was to in the future, will my psu be enough, thanx guy's.smile.gif

HX850 will handle SLI GTX480s/580s. You'll only have trouble running dual 590s or 6990s... Maybe not even then.

gtx 560 tis draw like 160w each, thats why 850w is overkill tongue.gif a quality 750w wouldve been better money-wise (and a 650w better still) but hey, you already got it, and its a great psu

RAM doesn't use practically any power. You could have saved some cash and got the HX650 but that is a great PSU and will last into the next build smile.gif
