DIY VRM heat sinks - Page 2

There is an artic cooling thermal paste that is permanent, but if you put it in the freezer for the night, you can easily remove the sinks. With something to go under the sink, you just apply pressure and it pops out. Plus, thermal conductivity is way better than any tape.

I was thinking of using pennies. 2cents.gif Cut them in half and soldering them to another as a base. Probably use the dremel to grind the base flat on the bottom.

I also have an aluminum ruler that I haven't used since college and would be easier to use. thinking.gif
