Low number of gamers in PC gaming? What? Consoles I am sorry are crap. Graphics are trash, Most of the Console community is full of childish immature people/kids, Controllers are terrible for responsiveness, Games are WAY over priced.

Im sorry If I am a poor sport about consoles but its the truth. Consoles will never compete with a PC nor can a console compete with PC game pricing

PC>ps3>xbox360>ps2 is what i think smile.gif
post #44 of 190
Yes pc is way to go at the moment. I have xbox360 also and some games are better on it (nhl for example) but overall pc is much better for example I tried playing bad company 2 on xbox after playing it on pc maxed out@60fps and OMG it was sluggish, almost impossible to play.

Yes you get more problems but its more rewarding when solve it out just by yourself. Right now i´m reinstalling GTAIV because that thing just would not start after clean install of windows smile.gif Like said before, its a love/hate-relationship, sometimes you want to hit something because you keep getting "xxx.exe has stopped working"-error no matter what you do, happened to me with battlefield3 but when I got it running...

Also console-gamers keep saying "console is better cauze you dont haz to upgrade every year in order to play latest gamez", I disagree: pc is better because you CAN upgrade, in my opinion it is exciting to buy a new GPU/CPU and then run benchmarks and games and see how much your fps/results improved. Cannot do that on console.

Also console-gamers will never expierence BSOD/black screen due to unstable overclock <--- pc wins smile.gif

Player count is nothing you should be concerned with, with regards to PC. There are still active, and full, servers for the original Halo on PC. You cant even get on-line with the original Halo on console.

As many others have said if you can afford it then yes it is well worth it. Consoles are cheap and easy and you can always trade games when you're done. PC requires a lot more money, you're usually stuck with the game once you've bought it, and you generally need a fair amount of PC know-how to keep things running smoothly.

My thinking is this: If I can get the same gameplay experience but with (usually) vastly superior graphics, FPS, and in some cases more add-on options (think Skyrim mods for example), then why would I limit myself to a console?
Besides, building and maintaining a PC is a lot of fun. YMMV.

PC FTW, I do also own an XBOX 360 slim but it gets no more than a couple of hours playtime per month maybe less, there's just no comparison between PCs and Consoles except if you really really want to play the console exclusives which is also why I bought my XBOX (Gears of War and Guitar Hero:Metallica) !
