thinking of getting a logitech g13, would it be pheasible with MMO's, and RTS's? also action games

heye everyone,

well i was playing the tera online beta and i was having alot of fun as sorcerer. that is until i ran out of buttons on my mouse (g500) to map skills too, so i was wondering if i should get a logitech g13

i htought that it would help since i could map all my skills to it, but then i was thinking if it would even be usable in rts's, so i didnt know if i should buy it or not. then i also remembered im playing fallout new vegas, so i wanted to know if it would help there as well.

one big question i'd like to know is: for mmo's is there any way that i can swap the button mappings on the fly in the g13( ex: im using skill bar 1, and then i switch to skill bar 2 and my keys have different skills attached to them now . for rts's, if i was playing SC2, and i clicked on the command center it would show some mappings on keys for scv's, and if i then click on the barracks, those same keys will now be able to make marines. i hope you understand)

thanks in advance, i appreciate it =]

Ok so I own a G13 and the G110 and let me tell you a G13 would help you alot. Yes you can on the fly macro. Idk about the SC2 question, but I do love my G13 and you can change between profiles for dif games Ie. SC2, BF3, Fallout New vegas

It means you can push the MR button, Key in the keys that you want bound together with out having to go into the Logitech profiler. I never use it tbh. I map all my keys before I play a game.

Yeah I don't play any RTS gamea Atm. I would bet that it would be useful, but can't help you from personal experience. My G13 is probably one of my favorite periphreals. I use it for a mouse when my Razer is charging while watching netflix. BF3, Skyrim, Dungeon Defenders, Simply EVERYTHING!!! wheee.gif You won't be disappointed. + LCD screen is very useful. I display my Msi afterburner on it so I can check the temps of my Gpu's while gaming.
