Is my CPU really at 127 C?

Thread Starter
I just installed phase and I am typing this right now from the phase rig and my BIOS and all temp monitors point to 127 C. However everything runs fine, and my 1M super pi score even dropped by 0.4 seconds at the same CPU speed as before when I was using stock.

i really doubt it would be 127 C, if it were something bad would have happened already i would have thought.

it may be giving stupid readings because it doesnt like to read the below zero temps

Most on board diodes don't cope well with sub zero temps, as few are even designed to read anything below 0ºC. And at 127ºC/260ºF your rig wouldn't even boot.

yes, your temp sensors are off the scale because of the extra cooling
its like in some computer games,if you add stuff forever youll eventually end up with a negative number x.x
