i have 1 thing to ask you i know i am in the right please to ask this well i think i am lol

i have just won then off ebay and i want to know if i could use them in my asus maximus formula and will it make my pc any better ? and much faster ?smile.gif

would you post a link to the exact board you have. I do know all the new formulas are ddr3 memory but im no pro on high end boards so more info would help.

Looks good to me. Use the raptor as a boot drive and your all set. Just to be curios, What speed is your current ram?

looks like the speeds on your new ram will be faster. I would not think it would make a very noticeable difference but since you bought it you may as well use it!
However the raptor WILL most likely be noticeable if used as a boot drive. a little less if used as a game drive but loading times would decrease.

for the dollar i dont think the ram was a good upgrade unless you got it Really cheap but whats done is done so enjoy!
