if you really want I can teach you how to take off in a jet and pushing "E" thinking that I would do a barel roll manevour. Only to see that I actually jumped out of the plane. And I was too close to the ground that I did not have any time to open my parachute. There goes a perfectly good JET spawn and another suicide on my book.

OR

I can teach you how to accelarete towards the ground and crash the jet, just 15 seconds after taking off. Yet another suicide.

Thats pretty much what I can do with a jet. thumb.gif

Once you get the controls sorted jet flying is really easy. Use the default controls which are:

WASD for Accelerate, Decelerate, and Yaw (turn) left and right
Arrow keys to roll
L.Shift for Afterburners
Space to shoot
x for countermeasures
c to changes camera.

Im going to explain as basically as I can how to fly, apologies if you know some of this stuff, I just dont want to leave anything out.

To take off press and hold W, when you get enough speed press the down arrow key to take off. You can now let go of W as speed is maintained once the landing gear is up.

To 'fly' you use the left and right arrows combined with the down arrow to change direction. So if you are flying straight to do a 'turn' left you press the left arrow until your plane has done a 90' left angle, then press down arrow to make the turn happen. Im sorry if that is confusing but its the best way I can think to explain it.

Its important IMO to fly in third person view when your not dog fighting, when you are on the tail of an enemy switch to first person view. If they leave your view switch back to first person as you'll have a better job of seeing where they went.

If you have any questions i'll try my best to answer them.

There's your problem, you have to use the arrow keys to have a decent chance at flying when you're new to it.
