when he was pulling the keys back then releasing it was still causing the noise (this is not on cause of hitting the keys too hard)
as for picking out sound i have a friend that is an audiophile i would bet 50$ he would pick this up instantly NOT in a quiet room
as for myself i am not that in tune BUT once i heard it i would subconsciously listen for it and it would start annoying me
I own this keyboard and I am an "audiophile". I know what happens when you use this keyboard in certain ways.
All you are doing is guessing. You can lose that $50 if you really want to. Not sure what your friend has to do with it anyway.
I am literally telling you what the experience is when you are not bashing, flicking and purposely bottoming out so hard and sharp to make the noise loud enough to be picked up, as opposed to just pressing the keys to control your computer.
There is a REASON why the guy who made the video did so in a dead silent room and there is a REASON why he had to have the camera in inch away from the keyboard for the sound to be picked up by the recording device. There is also a REASON why he had to mess with the keys in a fashion that would never occur during normal typing to make the video, instead of just typing normally.
If he typed normally, the actual sound of his fingers moving the keys would have drowned out the "noise" that he wanted you to hear.
Again, it's like me making a video on a DIY forum about a newly installed door and asking why it makes a loud slamming noise every time I slam the door. The only answer I'll get it to stop slamming the damn door, use it in normal conditions and see what happens.
In conclusion, this sound will be aparrent if you fit all of the following criteria.
-You are a one finger typer who cant help but mash and flick the keys randomly
-You type at a rate of one word per minute so you can listen for any resonance every time you press a key.
-You type with your face INSIDE your keyboard.
-You bought a gaming keyboard to sit in dead silence and type word documents while bashing and flicking the keys randomly.
If all that is you, then I'm afriad the K90 is not for you.
