Compatible Memory?

HI, Recently one of my sticks went bad. I have 2x4GB G.skill - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

I was wondering if I could just buy another 4GB stick and they would both be compatible in dual channel mode, or if I have to buy a whole new 4gbx2 setup. I was looking at specifically this one:

Sure you can. Will you buy exactly a stick like that? Otherwise, you'll probably want to buy a stick with similar timings.

By the way, can't you just RMA the bad stick?

ohhhh crap! I didn't even think of RMA since it's not new. Ok cool thanks man. Hopefully they won't have me send both sticks back.

I think they have a lifetime warranty (or a lot of years in any case), but you'll probably have to send both tongue.gif
