U2311h and U2312hm for dual setup?

Thread Starter
I've been looking to get a second monitor for some time now, right now I have a u2311h and I think it's awesome. Problem is that I can't seen to find them anywhere which leaves me stuck with the U2312hm. Does anyone have these side by side or know if there is a noticeable change in colour between them? I know the u2311h as CCFL as the backlight technology and U2312hm is LED and some say that there is a noticeable change but it's kind of a mixed opinion.

Edit: Or any monitors that are comparable to the U2311h would be appreciated.

You'll end up with higher contrast on the HM, but if you calibrate them with something like an X-Rite i1 Display Pro or a Spyder 3 Elite you should be able to match both monitors with each other (it's called Studio Match by Spyder). A good calibrator should make them match unless there are issues with the monitor itself.

Thanks for the reply, I went ahead and bought it. Seeing there's almost no information on this I'll be doing a review in a couple of weeks.

The monitor should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. I should have a review within a week or two, depending on how much work I have for my classes.
