I'd really say hold. It's what I am doing. And I'm a really impulsive buyer..haha
Doesnt it bother you that the phony kepler rumors only talk about beating the 7970 but never mentions the power consumption or a realistic release date?

I don't have the extra monitors yet, but I can tell you that the extra VRAM makes a difference on today's games even at 1920x1080. I've only really monitored memory usage on BF3, but it regularly goes to 1600MB. My max frame rates are a little bit higher, but the biggest difference is that I no longer dip into the 30-35fps range. I just got another one of these and it's absolutely beautiful...I really think the 2560MB 570 holds the best value of any card on the market (got mine for $395 each).
Edit: the only thing I can think of is that the 1280mb fan seems to be a little better. My current card's makes just the slightest little buzz under heavy load, but it's still relatively quiet.
The 6970 2gb performs better for less.
