Validation failed, because CPU-Z displayes 100 MHz FSB, while validator records 200 MHz -> CPU multiplier*base clock does not match CPU clock speed. I have sent an error notification to CPUID, no reply so far.

I'd keep it at the safe 3.2, maybe even lower it down a notch? smile.gif

Think im gonna order a sapphire 7770 OC edition. Although I wouldnt be using the integrated graphics it would give me a better chance with seeing how high I can overclock it without worrying about excess heat from the graphics core.

turn off the iGPU and you could overclock the A8 a bit more (no load from the iGPU) just remember you wont be able to take advantage of the dual graphics setup with anything higher than a 6670...

Thanks. Yes, it's winter, so I need everything to warm up my place.. smile.gif Seriously: sys fan switches to 100% at 85°C (factory setting by asus), so I guess this is the recommended max. temp for llano apu's. (or for the el. caps)

And yes, that 3.7 GHz was linked as "unstable" in my previous post, because I would need 1.5V and watercooling for my laptop to get it stable. I think 3.1 or 3.2 will be the final P0 setting for everyday usage.

Think im going to go ahead and order this http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/AMD/AMD+7700+Series/Sapphire+AMD+Radeon+HD+7770+1024MB+GDDR5+PCI-Express+Graphics+Card+?productId=48499 . Then buy a better cooler later than I can have a proper go at overclocking it. Thinking maybe a hyper 412s and having push pull with 2 spectre fans.

hmm, you sure your mobo is compatible? I saw the comment on that link saying its pci 3.0...
