Yep itll still be 1GHz as the pci-e bus doesnt effect core speeds also I doubt there will be much difference between pci-e 2.0 and pci-e 3.0 for a 7770 as its not powerful enough to saturate evn the pci-e 2.0 lanes. Kinda cool knowing im going to get a graphics card with a 1 Ghz clock speed smile.gif

Lol I did know it was 1Ghz :L I did do some research. I chose it over a 6850 due to power consumption and just the fact I can be one of the early people to get their hands on one :3 .

ok in like the next month or so planning to upgrade ram wanted some input on which one of these you guys think would be better

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233242

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231484

note i know it only supports 1333 so it will be running at those speeds but i figure i might as well get the 1600 so when running at 1333 it has better timings seeing the price is low

wow. these are cheap! I had no idea prices had gone so low! awesome!
both have pretty good reputation, I think its a matter of personal preference... I'd go for Corsair though

Hello everyone I'm new to overclocking but I do have a lot of PC knowledge. I was excited when I heard of them APUs so I bought one. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2251396 I have the ASUS A75 EVO with 16gigs of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz ram. I have just bought the ASUS EAH6670/DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 6670 Video Card coming on Friday. I'm looking for some help with setting the overclocking settings to get maximum POWER! LOL I'm sure the AI that came with the motherboard is fine, but I can't get it over 3.2 GHz without crashing.

Thanks a head of time.

nice, we have almost the same setup (GPU, RAM, and APU)
what kind of cooling are you running? you might not want to push it past 3.5 if your not entirely sure what your doing...
the ASUS suite II "extreme overclock" auto tuning raised my cpu up to 101MHz FSB with a multi of 35 (3535MHz) and OCed the GPU "boost" to extreme (I want to say it OCed to 870 but I'm not really sure)
you could probably squeeze a bit more out of the CPU, but that would mean raising the voltage even more, I'm at 1.500 right now but the EPU lowers it down to 1.176 when at idle.
Also, make sure you set your DDR3 speed to 1600 so you get a faster GPU too, and If you need help installing the EAH6670, PM me biggrin.gif

PS: added you, and updated kabj06
