AMD APU Owners Club - Page 26

Since this is a locked chip I will not be pushing it too far as I wish to retain ACHI function, as well as the USB hub. So I just simply will not be putting down any really high numbers with it. Unlike the mobile platform which you can trick into using higher bin's with K10stat due to the boost state, they did not incorporate turbo function in the desktop variant. I actually built this when the APU's were new and they did not have a unlocked part yet.

If some one wanted to help me gain access to an unlocked part I would be more then willing to see if I can push it out past 4ghz smile.gif

In all honesty even at stock just by tweeking the Ram speed and timing + overclocking the iGPU this is a fantastic media box.

Here is a good break down of the functions of both the A55 and A75 chipsets. They are nearly indentical except for a few things.

If I can find a 3870K for a good price I promise to come back, as the A75M-UD2H is one of the most competent FM1 boards released to the market.

Didnt say it was the best, but it is one of them. Not to mention its also mATX

Both Gigabyte and ASRock claim P6k+ in 3DMV with their boards and a 3850 with overclocking.

The UD2H is defiantly a solid board as I am running the iGPU @ 700mhz with out touching the voltage yet.
