I've had my a10-5800k up to 7.6 volts give or take. That gave me 4900Mhz but it wasn't prime95 stable. It was throttling at full load. That's on an asrock fm2a85x extreme6 with a Phanteks ph - tc14pe with stock fans and paste. I'm currently testing that cooler with some other fans (thermalright ty-143s and Akasa vipers) along with some Tuniq tx-3 and an Indigo xtreme to see what combo give me the best OC & temps...

I wish...
I'd like to hit 5ghz but it keeps throttling when the cores get to 68c. It's frustrating because the core temps are not a measured temp but an extrapolated number. The actual CPU temp diode on the MB only gets up to 56c or so.

hmm I just got a athlon x4 750k (which is a 5800k without the gpu and less power wattage so it stays a little cooler. So I wonder how hard it would be with a big cooler?

HI, i would like to build a machine arround the AMD A10-5700 which i think is the best overall performance and low power consumption, but i have a question is there any benchmark where i can see this APU on Starcraft2 and Battlefield 3.

Thread Starter
APU Club Members,

Sorry I have not a been a more active club leader. Certain personal issues have kept me from getting time to go through all of my emails and messages. I'm sorry for any of the new member who are trying to get on the list and I am sorry for the veterans of the club with updates. It is my duty to keep everything up to date and I have dropped the ball. Again I'm sorry. Those who have sent me PM's recently have been replied to.

The best way to get in contact with me, as far as getting on the list, is by PM. Please if anyone wants to get on the list or has an update let me know via PM.

Thanks.

Sincerely,
WumpusRX

I was thinking about jumping into the APU scene I had one question since I haven't been able to find the answer on my own.. Is it possible to unlock hidden x86 cores like desktop cpu's? or is the architecture physically different?
