  2. ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z/GEN3 190$(my recommendation)
  3. ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 200$
RAM
SAMSUNG 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 48$
those will serve you great
GPU :
You have many choices here and have to balance your budget accordingly
and instead of going with a factory clocked GPU go with a Card with better cooler i would say like
MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 235$
ASUS ENGTX560 TI DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 250$
and if u dont mind spending abit more i would say go witha 6950 over GTX 560 Ti or GTX 560 TI 448
HIS IceQ X Radeon HD 6950 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 250$
SAPPHIRE 100312-3L Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 260$
a 6950 could unlock to a 6970 and yield even more performance too thumb.gif
SSD :
Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) with Transfer Kit 160$
PSU :
Thermaltake TR2 RX 750W Bronze 90$
Water cooling :
XSPC Rasa 750 RS240 Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit w/ Free Kill Coil! 130$
and something cheaper then
CORSAIR H80 95$

I appreciate your suggestions Tarun smile.gif
I live in Greece so sadly we dont have many products like you have..

Actually the Asus p8z68 v pro/gen 3 and the Asus maximus have the same price here (191 Euros)..but i think i prefer the v-pro (for no reason).
i m not an expert on the technical specs so if you can, tell me why you think Maximus is better ^^

They dont sell the Samsung rams either...so any other suggestions of Kingston, Corsair, G.skill etc would be good.

About the GPUs, i am between the MSI TFIII 448 cores and the 6950 2GB..
The Pros about the MSI is the more cores and it can be like a 570 with OC...but i read they are limited edition so i will not be able to SLI in the future :/
From the other hand the 6950 is 2GB and you said it can be OC to 6970.. i liked that ^^ Plus i can Crossfire whenever i want...
So what you say?

The SSD is perfect ^^ (around 210 Euros though :/)

The Thermaltake PSUs bronze are a little expensive, but i can go with the Corsair Enthusiast 750 80+ Bronze...

And last, we dont have the XSPC brand..but we have that Corsair model (100 euros) i liked that too smile.gif
how the water cooling works? i hope i dont have to involve real water in this tongue.gif

Thanks again biggrin.gif

  1. i choose Maximus bcoz u it a Motherboard which is main aimed at the young Gamers and overclocking enthusiast like us
  2. it has a onboard SupremeFX X-Fi 2 sound system (my personal favorite thing about the motherboard)
  3. and is cheaper then theP8Z68 V pro ;P

about the 6950 1 firstly
  1. it has more VRAM which helps in high resloutions thumb.gif
  2. it has high chances of getting unlocked to 6970 thumb.gif
  3. and it performs as good as the GTX 570 if it unlocks thumb.gif
  4. and the 6950 2GB is abit better then the GTX 560Ti 448
Here this will make it clear
BattleField 3
494
495
497

Metro 2033
494
495
497
You see as the resolution goes higher the 6950 2GB performs better thumb.gif for more info on this pls click here
and make the choice for yourself smile.gif Sorry if i m confusing you redface.gif
But in simple words
It's really close between the 570/560TI 448 and the 6950. If you need PhysX then go with the Nvidia cards, but I'd choose the 6950 2GB because of the vram and the ability to (hopefully) unlock to 6970.
i would recommend you a800 watts PSU it would be more future proof
a GTX 570 SLi and a 6970 Crossfired both need 800 Watts PSU thumb.gif
and if you go with 6950 then this might help

There you go:)
Basically every 6950 is able to unlock or be flashed.
It only depends on if the card has been laser cut or not to determine wheter or not it is unlockable.
And please not that since March 15th AMD has made claims that they will take precautionary measures to inhibit their customers from unlocking their products.
So be aware!
But I can tell you that a clean and healthy overclock is mostly far superior to the simple unlock or 6970 BIOS flash which both don´t deilver more than max 3-5 % performance:)
Also take into consideration that as soon as you flash the card you will have voided your warranty.
Additionally bare in mind that their are no long term studies about either the unlock or flash so the possibility of long term damage or unproper operation of the card can not be disqualified.
So be safe and think twice if you are willing to unlock thumb.gif
So go with a Sapphire if you are willing the go with a 6950 biggrin.gif
and finda SAPPHIRE Toxic 100312TXSR Radeon HD 6950 2GB if you can the it the best and most unlockable card the was made thumb.gif
lastly can you give us any site that you prefer which you know is a Greece based site ??
Hope that helped thumb.gif

Cool i see now ^^
So i decided to buy from Amazon.uk cuz the prices are almost the same..maybe a little cheaper..and cuz i can find anything instead of searching in 2-3 stores here.
I found the 6970 2gb in a good price, so i think im getting this one whithout OC it.
Heres the list i made :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/I1G5MUKLLPVR

One last favor ^^ link me a good thermal paste for the CPU cooling and a mounting that fits the M4 SSD.
Thanks again thumb.gif

RAM i would say go with samsung as far as possible or
8GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Sniper Series (9-9-9-24) Dual Channel Low-voltage 1.25V £44.39
definitely a great overclocker for it price thumb.gif

Case :
Coolermaster HAF 922 £86.61
but i see you are getting the Cm Storm Mid Tower Scout Case cheap can go for it thumb.gif

SSD mounting i guess you are searching for something like this :
BYTECC Bracket-35225 2.5 Inch HDD/SSD Mounting Kit For 3.5" Drive Bay or Enclosure 5$

as for the TIM
ARCTIC COOLING Arctic Cooling MX-4 4 grams 13$thumb.gif

Hope That Helped redface.gif
