Better performance would be nice, but essentially the same performance with one card vs two.
However, it needs to be around the same size as a 5770 (can be a little longer).
Also, I didn't think I would see be suggesting the 5000/6000 cards. Aren't the 7000 cards out?

And FYI the system using the two 5770s is a X4 720 crossfire on MB is 8x/8x in crossfire.

As to your 8x lanes shouldn't make much difference if any as to saturating the lanes
with those cards. And very little if any.
But since upgrading makes no difference anyway.

As to the lenght on newer cards suggested, Might have a problem unless can do a little modding.

As in drive cages usually.

In that case I would suggest the 560Ti or 470 (hot though), or a 6950; but I can't comment on sizes of the cards because I don't know! redface.gif
