My package is out on truck for delivery as I type this. I might have a nice update for you tonight if everything goes as planned.
Anyone have some last minute tips for working with rotary spacers and compression fittings?
I have no water-cooling experience, though I'd like to ask, do you prefer Dazmods over Frozencpu? Any reason why?
Just curious, because I'm looking into some parts.
Looking forward to your update, hopefully you get your parts soon!
I was very on-the-fence about Dazmodes when I first ordered from them a while back. My first order from them was a pair of AP-15's they had on sale for $15 each. What finally drove me to buying from them was the fact that they were based in Canada which meant paying less for shipping, and not having to worry about paying duties like I do with FrozenCPU and Performance-PCs.
I've noticed in the past few months that Dazmode's inventory has been increasing at an incredible speed and their selection has become massive. A month ago, I would not have ordered from Dazmode, but this month they added that 11 mm rotary spacer, some new G1/4 fittings, and tons of new angled fittings.
In the end, I always try to wait at least a month once I get a list of parts prepared to see if Dazmode will carry them. I'm glad I did this time around for my latest order.
I did recently use FrozenCPU for PSU connectors as there are so many low-quality connectors out there. I had got recommendations from a certain amazing Artisan on this forum by the name of Lutro0 to hit up FrozenCPU so I took his advice. Luckily I didn't get hit with any duty charges on that package.
