Prices are shipped with no rebates. These are ok deals if the warranty is the same. It doesnt say anywhere the warranty is smaller. So who knows. Also MSI RMA's through serial number so thats a plus if something happens to one.

Well I know New Eggs policy. But if you get a defective item, New Egg will not charge for return shipping or Restocking if you contact them. As for MSI. I know their open box items carry full warranties from date card was manufactured. Refurbs I am unsure of.

they gave you a 24-48 hour ban probably because you have been pinging them so much tongue.gif

like refreshing constantly. Open box deal? just give up people have scripts that buys the gtx 580 and 6970 in less the one second but newegg is too dumb to figure that out.

people are more interested in the actual warranty usually 2-3 years.
i dont think newegg will help you at all after 90 days.

lol its not a good deal.

some times after rebate it can get lower then that brand new.

if i were to buy it new right now at tiger direct it would be cheaper for me because they dont charge me tax like newegg.

These dont have rebates. Rebates do no count towards the price of something. Thats an extra thing that normally takes quite a while to process. A big marketing gimmick and its not smart to ever buy something because of "after MIR" price. If so, they got you. Right now at New egg the MSI Hawk goes for 260 new and the OC is on sale today for 230 then back up to 245. So these are "ok" deals as stated in the OP. I just sold a TwinFrzr OC for 195 in less then an hour on this site a couple days ago, so if folks want to sale theirs for 170-180 then let them at it. These refurbs also come with New Egg protection when purchased if anything is to go wrong.

These are posted to help people looking for things they may need. If you dont like the item or the price, this is not the thread to let that be known. Or at least you can post links to the same items for cheaper if "they are so much cheaper" elsewhere. These threads are suppose to be helpful.

After re reading my post it comes off as I am a little ticked off, but I really am not. smile.gif Just stating that some people find some post helpful that others do not.
