how to see difference between exhaust and intake

i wanna setup my fans and wondered how i know its intake or push ...?
is there a sign, u just need to put it the other way?

There should be an arrow around the shroud that tell you which way air goes.

Normally though the empty side is the intake, and the side where the motor is mounted is where it's exhausted.

I want to know the same but with this

Smoke can show you the direction of airflow.

But to see which way the fan will blow air - all you need to do is look at the fan. The concave side of the blades will move air forward and the convex sides will suck it in.

orly? fans are 99% identical
the thing that holds the fan is always the side where the air comes out. always!

the only difference are vents which are running backwards or were the blades differ
