Thread Starter
I need some thermal paste to apply on a P4 at 2.8 ghz, it's running pretty hot (50º. room 20º)
And wich (cheap) fans would let me oc a little bit ( maybe 3.4/3.6 ghz....)
Thanks

As5 compound is best, I would get a typhoon, they don't cost much and you wouldn't have to worry about temps while overclocking, but about anything would be better than stock.

I was thinking about 20€/30$/ the paste and the cooler.
AS5 , wich brad is from?
Can you sugest a more cheap cooler?

AS5 is stands for Artic Silver 5.

An excellent cooler for its price tag (~$30USD) is the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. But I don't know where you could find one in Portugal .

Look at a Arctic Freezer 7 Pro, they are pretty cheap and come with pre applied thermal paste which is actually quite good. Its there own MX-1 you can find a few reviews on it. However I still recommend getting some Arctic Silver 5 (that is the company Arctic Silver).

Edit: He beat me to it....
