So another member recently brought up that he missed playing Halo 2 on xbox. I suggested that he try out xbox connect (yes connect with a c). Then we got the idea to organize a bunch of OCN members and play Halo 2. If you are unfamiliar with xbox connect its a program that basically tricks your xbox into thinking its on a LAN, when your really playing online. Here is where you can download it and see how to set it up http://www.xbconnect.com/index.php?topic=downloads although there is a premium member option the service is free, and premium doesn't get you much. So all you need is a copy of Halo 2, an xbox 360 or original xbox, and the program. Please say if you want to join in on the nostalgia, and then we can see what time works best for everyone.

xbconnect is great and I used it for a while to play after they closed xbox live. It took an hour to set up but after that I was all good. Since then I've bought halo 2 vista and just play that mostly.

Oh, and does anyone else remember the reason why they said they closed live v1? They said it was so that they could increase the friend cap on live v2... and that hasn't changed. Microsoft are crooks, no two ways about it.
