AMD FX 4100 Stable Voltages & Frequencies Listing
COMING SOON

So I figured this might be helpful to all of use to get some sort of estimate of how much voltage we should need to achieve certain frequencies.

Please anyone with an FX CPU and overclocking abilities read the requirements and what to include and submit.

- Proof Images Requirements -

[●] Test Option 1

- OCCT (1+ hour, CPU Test, Large Data Set, All Logical Cores) along with its default monitoring tables (CPU Usage, Memory Used, CPUTIN Temp, Core #0 - 7 Temps, and CPU VCORE in Table and Graphs)
- TMonitor for showing the Frequencies during the test (if tmonitor doesnt work please follow my guide below and use coretemp to monitor your cpu frequencies)
- CPU-Z just because thumb.gif

or

[●] Test Option 2

- Prime95 (6+ hour test, Blend Mode)
- OCCT (No Test) for the monitoring table and graphs (CPU Usage, Memory Used, CPUTIN Temp, Core #0 - 7 Temps, and CPU VCORE)
- TMonitor for showing the Frequencies during the test (if tmonitor doesnt work please follow my guide below and use coretemp to monitor your cpu frequencies)
- CPU-Z just because thumb.gif

*Note* please be sure there is no cpu throttling during the testing, you can follow my guide here http://www.overclock.net/t/1202751/amd-fx-cpu-throttling-fixes-please-sticky

- INCLUDE -

- Proof Image
- Vcore under load (according to cpu-z)
- Vcore Idle (according to cpu-z)
- CPUNB Settings
- RAM Specs
- HT Settings
- Motherboard Specs and Settings.

I will edit this post and create some sort of organized listing within the first couple of submissions.

I got my AMD FX-6100 Six-Core 2 days ago and it rocks! But I love going fast, so please, now keep in mind I'm begging, please notify me when and how I can give mine a small kick in the pants from 3.30 to 4.30 GHz. I'd be so grateful for your beautiful brains at work. I'm so busy with my courses right now with exams next week, trying to get caught up and life in general, I don't have much time to research but, when I;m interested in something, I work like a sponge and absorb all I can about the subject. I really want to learn how to overclock and much more of course. Someone told me my first step was to boot into bios and add 1 to the multiplier to start but, I don't know how to boot into bios. I'm only a first yr college student in CIS and I won't learn that stuff until the end of this year and so on. I really need some help and some geniuses at work on this subject soon. I promise that I will return knowledge as soon as I gain it. My one CIS Professor I'll have is a programmer for the Military and I'm sure he'll teach my class some cool stuff but, for now I'm stuck mad.gif Thank you all and I'm so glad this network here here thumb.gif

thumb.gif Please teach me how to make my Bulldozer a bit bigger sir damric tongue.gif I think from 3.30 to 4.30 GHz should be good without needing to add a cooling system other than the stock one. If I'm wrong please tell me, I', just learning. I had many of the best laptops and said forget this, I want to customize my machine from now on, now I just need to learn how from a genius like you. Please!

They can generate quite a bit of heat once they get overclocked, you should be able to get to 4.0ghz @ 1.35v easy if you want to... i had mine at 4.0ghz @ 1.3v the extra .5 is to compensate for any possible difference in chip... run prime 95 for a few hours, if it's stable you can back the voltage down some.

Here's my current oc 24/7 stable.
