Can someone tell me what voltage should I have for 4.1ghz? Now I'm running with 1.31v. Can't go more cuz of temps. I set motherboard settings LLC to extreme and Full phase control.

With that Voltage it fails only the AIDA FPU stress test, but in games like Alan Wake and L4D2 my CPU is pretty stable, so I don't want to rise the voltage anymore unless it crashes in games.

If you are on the stock cooler just drop it back to 4.0 for stability.

No, I have GlacialTech F101 2000rpm + 2000rpm. So far no freezes on 1.31v in games and below 61*c.

Vcore under load: 1.488v
Vcore Idle: 1.488v
NB/HT: Both at 2.7Ghz
RAM Specs: DDR3-2000, 13-13-13-38 @1.5v

EDIT: I'm currently testing to get 4.8GHz stable on my processor. I'll post those results when I have them.

60c at 1.3v is terrible.

Your HSF is no good, is mounted wrong, or you got a lemon CPU.

I was running up to 1.5v with a four pipe tower cooler from Sunbeam tech and temps were just getting to the mid 60's.

Same chip on an old Scythe HSF could only run 1.35v or so before temps got really out of hand.

Check your mounting, compound, and if those are good, get a better HSF.

Zalman Performa is a terrible heatsink for overclocking. Oops, only saw the 92mm one.

You want 120mm or 140mm minimum for high end air overclocking on the FX line. *with a decent speed fan*

Direct heatpipe contact helps as well due to fewer junctions between the heat source and dissipation medium.

Overclocking and having a quiet system just do not seem to mix well with these chips unless you are under water.

My updated overclock. My BIOS voltage setting is 1.43125v. I was able to bring down the voltage from my last post biggrin.gif

(That's almost 9 hours of running Prime95 for anyone who doesn't feel like counting)
