Razer warrant info

Wanted to find out from some of your folks here how razer is with there warranty. I see on there warranty page it tells me to go through the place of purcahse for warranty(IE Newegg for me) but they will not warranty it. I see that it has a 2 year warranty and my warranty is good through 1/24/2013. SO will they warranty it even though i didnt buy directly from them or am i screwed? thanks for the info.

Weird, mine is doing the same thing. If I have to take mine back it will be fine since bestbuy is like 3 miles away. I just want to know if I can take it back to them or not.

Newegg will take your product back within their 30 day warranty. It streamlines the process as their RMA is normally faster than going through the manufacturer.

Anything past 30 days is handled by the device manufacturer. Razer made your device so they will handle your RMA. I'd suggest contacting them and tell them that Newegg won't take your product back because it is over their 30 day period, and that you still have a year to go on their warranty. If they don't issue an RMA to you, then come back here and let us know.

Actually, I just went into Bestbuy and was told that they will take returns on razer products up to a year after their purchased due to an agreement with razer to become a reseller...

I ended up getting the Naga instead on my return because it was $21 more and a way better mouse for SWTOR.

Have you unplugged the USB and plugged it back in? Once my Razer Lycosa keyboard was acting up and that seemed to fix the issue.
