No ESET, no BSOD so far. I'm running the MSE like you suggested. Not sure how secure it is with just that program though.

Missed your reply, my apologies buddy. How is your system running so far? Also, you're fine with MSE, although I am a little worried at the amount of infections you had prior, especially with rogue software. Either way, that's a battle for another day, any BSODs?

Glad you asked. Right now my PC is setting, collecting dust in the spare room. Funny story, that. I went to install a pair of G.Skill 128SSD's in RAID 0. I pulled the new one out of the box, installed it with my current g.skill ssd and in and powered up my system. I smelled the 'magic smoke' and powered down the system. It fried both SSD's (they were both plugged into the same SATA pwr cable) and may have destroyed my mobo. No drives are detected in SATA 1-6 but 7-8 on the Marvell controller work.

I ordered a i72700k and P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 to make me feel all better. thumb.gif I also found my UPS is damaged. This spare PC randomly restarts too. Never did that in the game room.

Ah, sorry to hear. Well, when you get everything up & running, let's hope your hardware works and you have no issues! Also, that's good because you can reformat that malware plagued hard drive now, haha.
