Hello everyone!
I am new to Overclocking and trying to learn, I badly want to learn how to Overclock. My Speed is currently 3.30 GHz and I would like it at 4.30 GHz so I don't need to add an extreme cooling system or I would go higher. Can someone please tell me all the steps to accomplish this please? I read somewhere about booting into BIOS and adding a 1 to the multiplier but, I can't figure out how to boot into BIOS. I need someone who knows all the steps from start to finish that is willing to guide me please. I would be forever grateful! Looking forward to hearing back soon. Thank you and have a great night! thumb.gif

ok I belive on a gigabythe board as yours with the computer turn off hit the deleate key on your keyboard hold the key down till the computer boot up into the Bios screen from thier you will need to go to the multiplyer thats the best way for someone new to start over clocking as I havent owened many gigabyte boards and Im in no way a expert on the boards Id recomend you go to the AMD motherboard section here and ask someone in a Gigabythe form to walk you thru this

After I turn on the computer I hold down the delete key or well it is turned off? You don't mean the backspace key? Your talking about the delete key below the insert key?

I called HP and they told me to repeat tap F10 but, all I can do is see the CPU info and I can't figure out how to edit the multiplier. It's a pain. I may give up. I am so happy to have an unlocked processor but, mad because I can't figure out how to Overclock it and nobody seems to be able to tell me all the steps to take it from 3.30 GHz to 4.00 GHz mad.gif maybe someday I'll figure it out. After all, 3.30 is pretty fast. Also, if you change anything like the speed, it voids the warranty, although, I am 100% willing to do so if someone points me in the right direction and hooks me up with all the steps from beginning to end. smile.gif If anyone notices information on this for a first timer, please send it to me. I'd be forever grateful. Thank you!
