High end motherboards have a lot of controllers to initialize therefore taking up a lot of time.

I will give the F6G beta bios a try which improves this issue when I reach home.

You could run that rig on a 400W PSU easily.

Corsair PSUs are always Underlabeled so they have alot less warranty issues. this is what makes Corsair Top notch for PSUs
that PSU should be fine. and psu calcs are just that, calculations. by no means is that your actual wattage.
i love my 750TX

I know. I thought it would take the rig builder more time.

it may not be there if you didnt get all the way through the rig builder. i know it does take some time to complete all the steps, but you can do a quick pass-through and then edit in the rest later.
if you did do the whole thing then you might need to go to your profile and edit your sig. underneath the text entry box there will be three drop down menus for adding things to a slot in your sig. your rigs will show up in these menus so you can add them

most decent psus are underrated in terms of stability, however they tend to drop efficiency pretty quick after their rated wattage. take the antec tp-750 for example, from gabe's reviews, in practice it can handle 900w in spec, but efficiency dips down to 80%

i read review and comments about that motherboard and it seems that its a common problem redface.gif
