Cosmos 2 or Haf X?

Thread Starter
Well, I have the Haf X atm but I have the ability to upgrade to the cosmos 2.

Which is better:

A: in terms of cooling (my rig is below and I plan on getting 2/3 way crossfire x 7970's)
B: In terms of quietness
C: Looks (Opinions I guess)
D: Cable management

Your comparing cases that are in different price ranges. Not sure if the price was released Cosmos 2 but it won't be as cheap as your Haf X. That being said the Cosmos 2 is the superior case in probably every way . I would also look at the Silverstone FT02 if you going strictly air cooling.

Cosmos 2 is pretty much completely better but it costs a lot more $$$. If somehow you are able to even out the price, cosmos ftw.

Saw the Cosmos 2 the other day in person. It is freaking huge. I'd definitely get it over the any of the HAF's.

C: Looks (Opinions I guess)
D: Cable management

A: they both perform about the same. HAF is designed just for this purpose. however the cosmos 2 will have better practical results due to air filters
B: they are about the same again. cosmos 2 CAN be louder since it's capable of holding more fans if decide to go nuts on filling all of the fan slots.
C: neither fit my taste in cases.... too "gamery" for my taste
D: both are big cases. you may have a harder time with cosmos 2 since its HUGE and some of your cables may not reach.

if you are looking for 2 way Xfire, you'll be better off with a RV02-E or FT02. for 3way, i suppose the cosmos 2 is better if you got the $ to burn.

If you have the money why not look into a Silverstone FT02 (air cooling) or TJ07 (water cooling).

Don't know about the Cosmos 2 but I have a HAF X and love it. It's great for cable management and cooling is pretty good, too. I'd easily recommend it to somebody.

I would get the cosmos 2, but it weighs more than my desk! biggrin.gif
