Zalman CNPS9900MAX or Cooler Master V8?

Thread Starter
So i've been looking around for a CPU cooler and have finally narrowed it down. Between the Zalman CNPS900 Max and the Cooler Master V8. I've looked around for reviews and i've found unboxings and first impressions more then anything and just about nothing for the Zalman although both have gotten great reviews from site's like Newegg. I'd like some input as to which cooler may be better suited for me. The V8 is costs alot less then the Zalman so i'm leaning towards the V8, not to mention i'm a fan of V8's. I'll be putting to use on my i3 2120. I know a CPU cooler might be a bit of overkill for this CPU but I live in Southern California and it can get quite hot and well I'm sure it can't hurt. I'm not opposed to a cooler like the 212+ but I really like the look of the Zalman and V8. I'm assuming these coolers would fit in my case NZXT Tempest 410 Elite, can anyone confirm?

Also, i'm sure I'd have to clean up the CPU from the stock thermal paste. How would I go about doing this?

Here's some links to the coolers and my case
