[PDXLAN]NVIDIA and Gearbox to Announce Something Special at PDXLAN 19 - Page 17

I'm serious. Everyone assumed that someone of his clout would know more about Kepler than he leads on, so him saying "yeah, I have been told something" is completely meaningless until he tells us what he has been told. All he did was validate a vague, foregone suspicion that was widely held. It says nothing about what will be released when and what that product will be like.

Errrr... I'd actually assume he was telling the truth at both points in time wink.gif. Even under your hypothetical assumption, it still is news.

that small edit could mean nvidia has a media embargo or are finally putting one .. meaning they are ironing out the final part of the release

wich would make sense since most rumors put kepler in Q3

we are almost on Q2 of 2012 .

We're almost to april? Really? We're roughly halfway though Q1, don't get overexcited. Q3 starts in july, which is a long way off as far as I'm concerned.

Hi Frosty, I was curious if you were thinking of upgrading to an Nvidia card? You seem so interested in the Nvidia release info as of late around these types of posts? smile.gif

I once had two 6870's last December and when moving to 3D Vision went to one GTX 580. It is my first Nvidia card and though I was reluctant, what I thought was the 'dark side' turned out to be 100% trouble free GPU I've ever owned. Welcome aboard if you do. biggrin.gif

Ah OK. I'm a 'graphic curious' person as well. Been following the 7950/7970 club thread myself since the cards release. Learning about them is interesting to me too. thumb.gif

I'm about to take the first SLI plunge myself with the new release for Nvidia this time around. Did crossfire before only once with 6870's. Going to be interesting to say the least. 3D is demanding for gaming and I want to be over 60 FPS in 3D gaming now. One card was great for 2D games and any card will do for 3D blu-ray movies, but two is really needed for good 3D gaming. Maintaining 60 FPS makes it fluid.
