I have always defended AT&T, I have had good service and have a decent price, but not anymore.
This is just wrong. They say I am in the top 5% of users, but I am not, I am in the top 5% of unlimited plan users (which @ 2.1 gb I highly doubt).
This is a ploy to get users to drop their $30 "unlimited" plan for the $30 3gb plan.
I would be OK (not happy though), with them throttling me after 3 gb (to edge speed, not GPRS speeds), since $30 now buys you 3 gigs, but as a long time customer, I should get a little perk, right?
My only perk now is... umm .., well ... getting screwed?
Only problem is going to Sprint or Verizon will cost me almost $80 more a month (but will get unlimited data with sprint and unlimited texting with both (which I don't use), and triple my minutes (which I don't need) for my 3 phones.

How is it getting screwed when you are getting a data plan that would cost you 260% more at the next best price?
