hello,
a quick question how to apply thermal compound
please stae the quantity of compund along with the method.

Also i am using a cooler master thermal compound....

one small, rice sized piece of tim right in the middle, then squish it down and it will spread evenly and leave no bubbles. then tighten the screws in a cross pattern thumb.gif

This, unless you have a cooler like the hyper 212 with direct heatpipe contact. Then put some on the heatsink base, spread it out so it fills the cracks in between the heatpipes and base. Then wipe off the excess off the base, and use the rice method on the cpu.

now i think so that i'll had to tell the entire story to y'all.
I have taken this thermal compound from a friend of mine and just a pich of it is remaining. So sholud i go with that or simply buy anew one.

Also if y'all can suggest s good then you are most welcome.

It will probably be enough, but if you buy go for arctic silver 5 or that shin etsu stuff (equal in performance, but the as5 has a 200 hour break in time)
