Ati 4870 stock (fan) to replace 4870x2 fan?

Curious the fan in my 4870x2 is going, think a stock fan 75mm from 4800+ series would be a sufficient replacement?
I have no idea of rpm differences, but the size is exact

Would not imagine you have the same contacts for each GPU..

Most likely the same fan in both units.

Give it a try.

Lost me there...,

The fan is a stock ati fan with triangle 3 hole mounting, used still on many new cards, I know it will fit exactly, just any diffrence in fan rpm capacity was curious as they were for single flu cards and this is a dual gpu (Sapphire 4870x2)

The rpms will be the same.
