Central ar is a godsend down here! Today was freaking 83F and its technically not even March yet. It is supposed to drop down tomorrow and the next day but Friday and Saturday is back in the 80's. I will probably start the central air on Friday. LOL

Where are you from? It was about that temperature here in Texas as well. Wait till summer when it gets to over 100F here.

South Carolina. I went through the entire winter with a sweatshirt. I have been to Austin a few times. Once was at the end of August. You guys get crazy hot down there! My H100 should be in today, I figure that and the central air should be enough to keep it cool enough. thumb.gif

bahh, sorry for the bit of bad luck there man. I looked at the same board when I was building my new rig and decided against gigabyte due to the reviews I read not from the pro review sites but from the manufacturer forums. I saw a bunch of people posted about boot loops and such and with my luck I would have gotten the same thing. I stuck with my ole' faithful of EVGA. I'm loving this board.

I bought a new board but I'm still waiting for it to get to me. Newegg is usually alot faster than this!

I got an ASUS P8P67 WS REVOLUTION

I don't really need any of the z68 features since I got an i5 2550k

You'll be happy with the Asus board. Asus is one of the 2 companies that I have never had a bad experience with. I have also heard a lot of good things about that board. thumb.gif

Oh ****! I'm from SC and it has been wild this year, I'm telling you man It's H.A.A.R.P. at its finest down here (look it up). It is still winter and I am able to go outside in shorts and short-sleeves in the middle of the night. This is so wild. Two years ago it snowed around this time.I built a computer during the winter and I have been wondering if I will need to down clock during the summer because of the heat biggrin.gif I have been curious it can get hot as hell during the summer.
@ apocolypS3
Sorry to hear about your board. The same thing happened to mine while i was stress testing (on stock clocks) It just shut down and started to boot loop so i RMA'd everything just so I would not get the board back 3 weeks later and the computer still not run. Everything is fine now though. of course I did replace everything shy of the HDD and the DVD drive...literally, so i would hope so.

How do I get rep? I have some good parts to sell and I have it posted on another site but also wanted to offer it here. I understand the reasoning behind it but I would think quality of posts rather than rep count.
