like the 2100 is 3.1, 2130 is 3.4. some ppl think it will also have the HD3000 igpu, but those were done with a 5 in the last digit, 2105.

The cherry picked 2700k rumour was rubbish, so these 2550k's are unlikely to be CP'd.

Should I enable PLL overvolt?

picking one of these up next week. hoping for a good clocker, since i'm foregoing the igpu. got a p67 mobo for it as well since i won't be using those features.

Ive been tuning clocks more with this chip and I'm getting to 4.6ghz @ 1.47v and running prime 95 but after that it locks up more. Would turning off X.M.P. help in this regard or am I hitting a wall with this chip?

I enabled PLL overvoltage but when I did it would not boot, I heard with D2 stepping that it should still be able to boot but mine wont. I'm getting a lil frustrated with Intel's overclocking lol.

I am getting all my info from this link here: http://www.overclock.net/t/910467/the-ultimate-sandy-bridge-oc-guide-p67a-ud7-performance-review

You might just have a bad chip like a bad bin if it needs 1.47V at 4.6ghz. I am not sure though just going on what some other i5-2500k have gotten from what I have personally seen.

Certainly not a great chip as mine (2500k) did 5.1 prime95 stable at that voltage

Your @ 1.47v and only @ 4.6ghz? That sounds like a pretty poor chip to me. I just got my i5 2550K set up running today and have been messing only a little bit with so far. I'm still running a hyper 212 with 2x 120mm sickle flow fans for push / pull and I have it at 4.5ghz @ 1.317v. I think I have to reseat the hs as the temps on core 3 are a little higher than the others. about 5 degree here and there.

Here is yet another one this one is almost 5Ghz @ 1.376v

I need to tweak my Bclk back to 100 even and it will read the 5.0Ghz. This is all on air yet too.

If your stuck @ 4.6 and your already at 1.46v I would have to say the silicon lottery was not nice to you at all.

Looks like I got a lucky chip.

After some more tuning I am currently running at 4.5Ghz / 1.37v 24/7 OC. I know I can hit 5.0 at 1.48v but It's not something I want to do for a 24/7 OC
