Win7 BSOD - Page 2

(Before you do anything below, set BIOS to default and set the controllor to raid mode then save changed and reboot)

Update your BIOS to the latest version.

You could delete your raid 0, then remake it at 128kb strip size, then install windows, then install chipset/audio/raid from this page below:

http://uk.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A88TDV_EVOUSB3/#download

Then, run windows update. Install everything but don't let it install any AMD drivers.

After everything is on, install AMD CCC for your GPU.

Then run these in any order:

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851

Then run windows update again!

Then install only the most essential software and drivers with minimal peripheral hardware connected and retest the computer.

Is there a special way to install RAID drivers?
Thanks

Upon windows install i recall it saying press F6 to load raid drivers.....I THINK. But it might only be windows raid drivers, which is not good compared to AMD's!

I will try to reset bios settings and see if that helps. At this point I really do not want to install a fresh copy of windows, but i guess if all else fails I might have to.

Well I got frustrated and made an impulse buy, 120G SSD and new 990FX mobo. After getting everything setup I tested both HDDs that I had in RAID0 and one of them is on its way back to WD. I would say that was my problem.

Thanks all!
